I finally found a place that I can hide away
A fool’s fortune where I can save my name
The sun’s an orange crush it always stays the same
Escape the waves
Wet shoes, wet money beneath the tongue
It spits back out bubblegum, bubblegum
And I will stay until your lobster lips are done
Crashed, cramped, & burned
I love this album! It’s so great to listen to while relaxing, working, or out on a walk. It feels like he’s painting vast landscapes with sound in my head. Lots of Chuck Johnson vibes on this record, and I’m glad there are multiple artists experimenting in this pedal steel space. Anson Burtch
